In an age of infinite content, Jeremiah Meyer made something that demands your full attention.A senior in the Art Department at UNC Asheville, Meyer recently put on Between Walls and Windows, an ambitious, immersive performance blending live music, large-scale painting, projectors, and theatrical staging. Written and directed by Meyer, the production invited audiences into a series of vivid, deeply personal vignettes exploring adolescence, memory, and the uneasy relationship between privacy and visibility.“I felt like something was missing from live music experiences,” Meyer said. “We consume so much art on our phones now. I wanted to create something you had to physically be present for, something experiential.”
