DESCRIPTION:Take part in the Butterfly Bike Tour from 3-5 p.m.\, beginning at Reed Plaza. This guided ride will lead participants to three stops along the Asheville Butterfly Trail\, offering a unique opportunity to learn about pollinator conservation while exploring the area by bike. \nAlong the route\, participants will discover the importance of butterflies and other pollinators to local ecosystems\, with opportunities to engage\, learn\, and even take photos with butterfly wings at select stops. \nParticipants should bring their own bike or check out a free bicycle from the UNCA Bike Shop ahead of time. DESCRIPTION:Join faculty\, staff\, and fellow students for the On Campus Community Workday\, with activities running from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Participants can sign up for one-hour time slots throughout the day and should report to Reed Plaza (near the front of Brown Hall) at the start of their shift. \nVolunteers will assist with a variety of projects aimed at keeping UNC Asheville green and vibrant\, including invasive species removal\, planting flowers\, and mulching. Duties will be assigned upon arrival\, making it easy for anyone to jump in and contribute.
