Moira Holohan: Marking Time, Making Fiction

March 25 @ 3:30 pm 5:10 pm

Join us on March 25th for a special artist talk and opening reception featuring the work of multimedia artist Moira Holohan. Marking Time, Making Fiction is an exhibition of Holohan’s dynamic video works, on view in the Sami Zoobi New Media Gallery from until April 6.

The event will begin at 3:30 PM with an artist talk, where Holohan will discuss her practice of using video as a medium for experimentation, performance, and process. Following the talk, a reception will be held from 5:30-7:00 PM, allowing visitors to view the exhibition and mingle with the artist. Light refreshments will be served.

This exhibition is presented in partnership with the Emerson Dorsch Artist Residency (EDAR) and showcases Holohan’s evolution as a video artist over the past 13 years. The four projections on view trace her development through works that compress long, labor-intensive processes into brief, mesmerizing durations.
