I am a North Carolina native, but prior to coming to UNC Asheville in 2016, I spent six years in the Boston area working with business students in a Residence Life and an Academic Advising setting. I also taught in a professional development seminar and ran a co-curricular program that focused exclusively on engaging students in their careers. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications & Master’s Degree in College Student Personnel from Western Carolina University and have found a great deal of satisfaction working with college students. In my role as the Associate Director for Employer Relations, I partner with area and regional employers to build recruiting strategies to bring more UNC Asheville students and alumni on board.
On a more personal note, environmental sustainability is a core value, I watch a ton of movies and care more about the Carolina Panthers than I probably should. I recently bought a home in the area, and plan to set deep roots in the community for years to come.
