Hi! I’m Emma (she/her), a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC). I earned my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Appalachian State University and my B.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida. I enjoy working with students navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, eating concerns, life transitions, identity exploration, and more. I’m especially passionate about supporting students from diverse and marginalized identities, including LGBTQIA+ and first-generation communities.

My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and tailored to you. I strive to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to take courageous steps toward wellness, personal growth, and whole-hearted living. My therapeutic style is rooted in person-centered, strengths-based, and holistic counseling. I also utilize cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based interventions to support your goals.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy running, cooking, Pilates, making music, spending time with loved ones, and binge-watching reality TV shows.
