Whether you’re arriving by car, public transit, bike, or foot, we provide comprehensive resources to help you access UNC Asheville’s campus smoothly.
Parking on Campus
Our goal is to provide convenient and reliable parking solutions for all campus community members. Only vehicles with a valid UNC Asheville permit are permitted to park on campus. Parking permit requirements are applied and enforced at all times in all University lots.

Parking Updates
Temporary changes to parking availability due to construction, maintenance, or special events will be communicated to the campus community through official university listservs by Parking and Transportation Services (transportation@unca.edu).
Road closures or conditions that impact campus safety will be communicated through the Bulldog Alert Emergency Messaging System.
Student Parking
All students are eligible to select from a variety of parking permits to meet their needs for access to on-campus parking.
Faculty and Staff Parking
University employees can renew their parking pass each year for convenient access to academic and administrative buildings.
Visitor Parking
We've made parking hassle-free with flat-rate day passes for select lots across campus.
Local Community Member Permits
Members of the local community may purchase an annual permit to access facilities and University services.
