I am a graduate of North Carolina State University’s MFA program in fiction, and am thrilled to be an adjunct lecturer at UNC Asheville. My writing has appeared on NPR as part of their Three-Minute Fiction contest, in journals such as Luna Luna, Alyss, and Pieces of Cake, and is forthcoming in Mason Jar Press’s “The Horror Is Us” anthology. I was a finalist for Omnidawn Publishing’s 2019 Fabulist Fiction Chapbook contest, and am the recipient of the 2017 James Hurst Prize for fiction, the Robbie S. Knott scholarship for women in creative writing, and most recently, a 35 in 35 Fellowship from the Vermont Studio Center. I am currently working on a novel.
