Tracy George is a Lecturer in Psychology, Health & Wellness, and the UNCA-UNC Gillings Master of Public Health program. She graduated from the Yale School of Public Health with an MPH in Social & Behavioral Sciences, and co-created and directed Yale’s first student wellness center. As a trained health educator, mindfulness teacher, dancer and sourdough bread baker, Tracy brings a deep passion for teaching and a focus on the mind-body connection into the classroom. Hailing originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Tracy has lived in DC and New Haven, traveled near and far, and has been a resident of Asheville since 2020 enjoying hiking and mountain biking.
