Dining & Catering Services
UNC Asheville’s Dining Services (provided by Chartwell’s) operates Brown Dining Hall, which offers buffet-style dining for all palates, and always features vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. We will help you select the right meal plans for your group.
We also offer full-service catering for any type of event in almost any part of campus. View the current catering menus for more information.
UNC Asheville is known for its sustainable practices campus wide. We are the first in North Carolina to be designated a Fair Trade Campus and we have earned 3 stars from the Green Restaurant Association. Much of our food is locally and regionally sourced, and we recycle and compost about 81% of our waste. And wherever single-use containers are used, they are always compostable.
