Expedition: Asheville

Expedition: Asheville takes place March 27–29, offering a full weekend of public programs featuring scholars, artists, musicians, and community changemakers. Organized by Carolina Public Humanities at UNC Chapel Hill, this multi-day experience invites participants to celebrate, investigate, and forge connections within Asheville and the surrounding Appalachian region.
Several programs will be hosted on UNC Asheville’s campus, including:

Participants can expect thoughtful discussions, collaborative learning, and opportunities to connect with others while exploring what makes Asheville unique.
