Andrew Rainey
Andrew Rainey joined the North Carolina Center for Health and Wellness (NCCHW) at UNC Asheville in April 2023 as a Research Associate and Audio Producer for the Health Policy Collaborative with the Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC). In May of 2023, he also joined the NCCHW Culture of Results team to support an evaluation of the Community Health Worker Chronic Disease Initiative. He is a trauma-informed systems thinker, educator, linguist, and naturalist with an international worldview. Currently an MPH candidate at the Gillings School of Global Public Health, he is also a mental healthcare worker and longtime community radio producer.
