Undergraduate Research
At UNC Asheville, students have opportunities to engage in hands-on research through close mentorship with faculty. Students can showcase their work at the university’s research symposium, organized by the Undergraduate Research and Creativity Activity Program (URCAP), and regional conferences. In addition to on-campus opportunities, we support students in applying for competitive summer research programs at other institutions, including the Cross-Institutional Undergraduate Research Experience (CURE) and National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates (NSF REUs).
